I’m feeling a bit behind in my major project, but I think my objective might be getting closer to something I actually want to do!!!

I want to use the current digital photography fad of emulating film to educate people about analog processes. Current apps in this field don’t seek to educate, they only seek to mimic an aesthetic that feels nostalgic but is out of place. It has given birth to the (school of?) thought that to take a photograph that looks good, all you have to do is select the right filter afterwards and I think that devalues photography to some degree.
